Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Water the Sapling ("the Service"). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Water the Sapling provides daily UPSC static-syllabus revision content: one concept and ten multiple-choice questions per day, plus streak tracking. Content is generated using AI and curated for accuracy, but is provided "as is" for study purposes only and is not an official UPSC resource.

2. Account

You must provide accurate information at sign-up and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Subscription and billing

• The Service offers Monthly and Yearly subscription plans, billed in Indian Rupees (INR) via Razorpay.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled.
• Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your Account page. After cancellation, access continues until the end of the current paid cycle.

4. Refund policy

Because the Service delivers digital content from day one, all payments are non-refundable once a billing cycle has begun. If you were charged incorrectly (duplicate charge, technical fault), email us within 7 days at support@waterthesapling.com and we will investigate and refund any genuine error.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Share your account or resell access to the Service.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute the daily content in bulk.
• Attempt to break, probe, or overload our systems.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual property

All content, branding, and code on the Service are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the content for your own preparation only.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee any specific exam outcome. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
